Preparing your Presentations

Language

The official meeting language is English. There will be no simultaneous translation.

Oral presentations

Technical facilities will include slide and LCD computer projectors in each conference room. A projectionist will be assigned to each lecture room. Lecturers can preview and rehearse their presentation in a fully-equipped “Preview” room.
Oral presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes plus 5 minutes dedicated to questions. Speakers are reminded of the importance of using clear and high quality material for projection.
Except for the opening sessions (Monday morning) all sessions will be on the same time frame. It is essential that all speakers keep on schedule.

Poster presentations

The poster exhibition will be held from Monday to Thursday in dedicated poster sessions. One display board will be provided for each poster. Assistance and mounting materials will be available.
Each poster has been assigned a reference number (indicated on the mail confirming the acceptation of your poster). The numbering code is as follows: P=poster/ Session code / Poster Number.
Posters must be mounted on the appropriate display board on Monday before 13h00 and removed before 14h00 on Thursday.


Guidelines for posters
Size should not exceed 120 cm high and 85 cm wide
The lettering should be readable from at least 1m distance
Text should be kept to a minimum, while figures and tables should be large.
